Who We Are
We are the Hispanic/Latinx community at the University of Delaware!
HOLA is the Latinx/Hispanic programming board on campus and we strive to put on events, meetings, and community service events to bring awareness and spread Latinx/Hispanic culture and help our community grow and strive through various methods.
Our mission statement:
We, the Hispanic/Latinx community of the University of Delaware, exist to provide Hispanic/Latinx awareness of campus issues within the University of Delaware community. We will create a comfortable environment for Hispanic/Latinx students within our community. Our priority is to have a cultural exchange between all students of different backgrounds without exclusions based on race, creed, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, handicap status, or sexual orientation.
We will protect and preserve the overall well-being of Hispanic/Latinx students through active participation in campus leadership, registered student organizations, and scholastic endeavors. Finally, our resolve is to serve as a major voice for the interests of Hispanic/Latinx students at the University of Delaware.
